FCHS vs. Humboldt/Table Rock/Steinauer

Falls City - 41, HTRS - 30

The Falls City Tigers boys basketball team improved its record to 10-3 by beating HTRS 41-30 on February 14 in Humboldt. The Tigers were led by Junior Willie Neubauer, who had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Junior Jared Dishong also pitched in 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. The Tigers will play their last home game of the season on February 17 against Johnson-Brock.

FCHS vs. Wymore Southern

Falls City - 47, Southern - 30

The Falls City Tigers JV boys basketball team picked up a road win on Friday, January 30, by beating Wymore Southern 47-30. Juniors Kent Stejskal, Jared Dishong, and Willie Neubauer scored 13, 13, and 12 points respectively. Freshman Kenny Frederick provided a spark off the bench by helping the team out with 5 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. The Tigers are now 9-2 for the season.

FCHS vs. Auburn

Falls City - 51, Auburn - 43

The Falls City Tigers boys basketball team beat Auburn 51-43 on Tuesday, January 27. It was a junior-dominated performance as Jared Dishong and Willie Neubauer scored 16 points each; and Kent Stejskal and Clint Bartek each added 9 points. The Tigers roared out to an early lead by only allowing Auburn 10 points in the first half. The JV is now 8-2 for the season.

FCHS vs. Tarkio, MO

Falls City - 51, Tarkio - 24

The Falls City Tigers JV picked up a home victory on Monday, January 19, by beating Tarkio 51-24. Juniors Willie Neubauer, Kent Stejskal, and Brooks Ivey scored 10, 8, and 8 points respectively. It was a total team effort as 11 different Tigers scored in the contest. The JV squad is now 7-2 for the season.

FCHS vs. Nebraska City

Falls City - 39, Nebraska City - 24

The Falls City Tigers JV boys basketball team pushed its record to 5-0 with a win over Nebraska City 39-24 right before the holiday break. Nine different Tigers scored in the winning cause with Sophomore Logan Faller leading the way with nine points. Junior Jared Dishong had 3 steals and Junior Willie Neubauer had 6 rebounds to lead the Tiger defense that only allowed 4 points the entire second half.

FCHS vs. Plattsmouth

Falls City - 51, Plattsmouth - 48

The Falls City Tigers JV boys basketball team beat a tough Plattsmouth team 51-48 in the final seconds on December 20 in Plattsmouth. Junior Kent Stejskal knocked down a 3-pointer from the corner to put the Tigers up by 1 point with 17 seconds left to go in the game. Stejskal and Junior Willie Neubauer, who finished with 12 points, sealed the victory by making some key free throws down the stretch. Junior Jared Dishong scored 12, sophomore Logan Faller scored 11, and freshman Josh Stoller added 9 points to the winning cause. The JV team is now 4-0 on the season.

FCHS vs. Auburn

Falls City - 50, Auburn - 35

The Falls City Tigers JV boys basketball team beat Auburn 50-35 on Friday, December 12, at Peru State College. Three Tigers scored in double figures with junior Jared Dishong scoring thirteen, sophomore Logan Faller scoring ten, and junior Willie Neubauer also scoring ten. The stingy Tiger defense held Auburn to just three points in the fourth quarter to protect the victory. The Tigers are now 3-0 on the season.

FCHS vs. Hiawatha

Falls City - 46, Hiawatha - 34

The Falls City Tigers JV boys basketball team improved to 2-0 on the season by beating Hiawatha 46-34 on Tuesday, December 9, in Falls City. The Tigers used a balanced scoring attack with nine different players scoring in the game. The JV will next travel to Peru State College on Friday, December 12, to take on Auburn at 4:30 P.M.

FCHS vs. Syracuse

Falls City - 45, Syracuse - 23

The Falls City Tigers JV boys basketball team started off its 2008-09 season with a big win over Syracuse 45-23. Junior Kent Stejskal led the way for the Tigers with 18 points. The Tigers defense was tough all night against the perennial power by not allowing more than 6 points in any quarter.
