The Tigers ran at the Syracuse Country Club on October 2, 2009. Weather conditions were rainy, cool, and very windy.
Kent Stejskal led the boys’ team with a 26th place finish. He improved his previous best on this course by one minute. His time is 2nd all-time on this course. Only Brett Boltz’s time has been faster. He was 26 seconds faster than Tim last year. Coach Cody Hawley said, "Kent continues to have a great season. He proved a lot to me today. He showed he could stay up with the big names in Class B and hold his own." Tate also improved his time from a year ago.
Alicia led the girls with a 16th place showing in the JV race. Rachel improved her PR on this course under less than ideal conditions. Jessica Fisher missed a couple of days of school this past week due to an illness and struggled. She will be healthy next week at the home meet.
The cross-country teams are at home to close the regular season on October 8th. Come support the running Tigers.
