FCHS vs. Plattsmouth

Falls City - 23, Southern - 35

Leading Scorer – Erin Lyons - 9, Jayme Schwarting - 6

The young Tigers kept it close most of the way behind leading scorer Erin Lyons with 9 points. Jayme Schwarting ran the offense and added 6 points. Forced to foul at the end, the Tigers put Plattsmouth at the line to stop the clock but couldn’t score to keep pace with the free throws.

FCHS vs. Wymore Southern

Falls City - 22, Southern - 12

Leading Scorer – Erin Lyons - 12

The Tiger JV got their first win of the season by playing good defense and holding Southern to 3 points in quarters one and two. They then shut them out in the fourth.

Jayme Schwarting led the defense with 6 steals as well as running the offense well for the Tigers. Ashley Sickel had 8 rebounds to lead the team.

FCHS vs. Auburn

Falls City - 31, Auburn - 37

Leading Scorers – Erin Lyons - 11; Jayme Schwarting - 6; Ashleigh Jordening - 6

Auburn outscored the young Tigers 14-4 in the third quarter to pull too far ahead for a comeback.

FCHS vs. Syracuse

Falls City - 23, Syracuse - 28

Leading Scorers – Erin Lyons - 10; Ashley Sickel - 5

The Lady Tiger JV team led almost the entire game and had a good chance to hang on in the end. Syracuse hit a big three-point shot late in the fourth quarter to lead enough to force some clock-stopping freethrows that became the difference in the game.

The JV play Tuesday, December 9, at Hiawatha starting at 5:00 P.M. Then they play the home opener with Auburn on Friday, December 11.
