Students who are interested in attending college following high school should complete the following during their junior year in high school:
Fall
- Sign up for Countdown to College at www.educationquest.org to receive monthly college planning advice.
- Complete EducationQuest's online Activities Resume to record your honors and activities for future admissions and scholarship applications.
- Research colleges that interest you:

- review EducationQuest's online College Profiles
- attend the college fair in your area
- talk to admissions representatives who visit your school
- seek advice from your guidance counselor
- use the resources at EducationQuest foundation

- Use EducationQuest's online ScholarshipQuest at www.educationquest.org to research local and statewide scholarships. Other resources are available in-house.
- Attend the financial aid program in your area.
- Take the PSAT. This is used for National Merit consideration.

Spring
- Start your college visits - call two weeks in advance to set up a campus visit.
- Start a scholarship file to organize your scholarship applications.
- Use EducationQuest's online College Funding Estimator to estimate your FAFSA results.
- Update your online Activities Resume.
- Prepare for the ACT/SAT with:

- test-prep classes and books
- sample questions at www.actstudent.org and www.collegeboard.com
