Students chosen for honor music festival

Three Falls City High School students participated in the Honor Bands, String Orchestra and Choirs Music Festival on January 30 through February 1. Senior Madison Winslow, daughter of John and Susie Sailors; senior Timothy von Behren, son of John and Glenda von Behren; and junior Rodney Mount, son of Julie Mount and Jerry Mount, were chosen for the First Annual BOCH Festival.

The FCHS students were among 200 students selected for the Mixed Honor Choir during the festival in Omaha. These students rehearsed on the UNO campus on January 30th and 31st. On February 1, a concert was held at the Holland Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Omaha.

Alisha Sutton, Falls City High School vocal music teacher, sponsored the students' entry audition for the BOCH Festival.
