FCHS students place in business contest

Peru Business Contest medal winners are, left to right–Michael Huettner, Brooks Ivey, Trent Scheitel, and Victoria Vollmer.

Eleven students from Falls City High School participated in the 37th annual Peru Business Contest. Michael Huettner, Brooks Ivey, Trent Scheitel, and Victoria Vollmer came away the big winners for Falls City. Michael Huettner finished 2nd in Job Interview, Brooks Ivey placed 5th in Keyboarding, Trent Scheitel was 4th in Advanced Accounting, and Victoria Vollmer finished 5th in Job Interview. These students competed with their peers from 15 schools in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri in 15 different business disciplines. Donna Eickhoff is the business instructor at Falls City High School.
