FCHS students sponsor bloodmobile

Sophomore Jeri Kephart donates blood for the first time during the Student Council and National Honor Society bloodmobile.
The Falls City High School Student Council and National Honor Society hosted their annual Red Cross Bloodmobile on Thursday, March 19.
Prior to the event, students planned and promoted the blood drive by making phone calls to prospective donors. They also distributed flyers, hung posters and advertised in local media.
On the day of the blood drive, students helped unload the bloodmobile truck. They also greeted and signed-in donors. Students provided, prepared and served food and drink to donors and blood service workers throughout the day. At the end of they day, they helped load the bloodmobile truck.

Members of the FCHS Student Council and National Honor Society provided help prior, during, and after the annual blood drive a the high school.
A total of 126 units of blood were collected. With the addition of 16 year-olds being allowed to donate, a record breaking total of 52 students at FCHS participated. The following students donated blood:
