Falls City High School announces
January Students of the Month

Chosen as the January Students of the Month are, left to right, Hannah Gilfillan, Justina Strecker, Michael Huettner, and Jeff Cornell.

The staff and administration of Falls City High School have announced the
selections for the January Students of the Month. The January honors go to the following students:

Upperclassmen
Michael Huettner, a senior, is the son of Jim and Mary Jo Huettner.
Justina Strecker, a senior, is the daughter of Larry and Michelle Strecker.

Underclassmen
Jeff Cornell, a sophomore, is the son of Jeremy and Lisa Cornell.
Hannah Gilfillan, a sophomore, is the daughter of Mark and Ashley Gilfillan.

The students were nominated by high school staff based on their academic achievements, attitude, classroom contributions, and work ethic. "Each of the students was praised in nomination comments for their academic excellence, helpfulness, and leadership; for serving as excellent role models for their peers; and for going above and beyond what was asked of them," said Gale Dunkhas, high school principal.
