Staff members added, others changed

New staff picture
New staff members for the 2010-11 school year are, First Row, left to right–Mary Beth Rowell, Sherry Maddox, Laurel Valentine, and Tracie Heckenlively; Second Row–Ernie Valentine, Jessica Miller, Katy Gifford, Julie Frederick, and Jarod Remmers.

The 2010 - 11 school year opens with many staff changes. Some staff members are new faces and others are new faces in different places. The following are the new and changed staff members:

District
Tim Heckenlively has moved to the position of Superintendent of Schools from his job as North School Principal.

High School
Julie Frederick, who will be shared with middle school, will be the new Media Specialist.

Middle School
Sharing duties with the high school is Julie Frederick, who will be the media specialist two days a week. Alisha Sutton will be teaching all of the middle school vocal music, and Robert Kercher will be leading all of the middle school instrumental music. Sherry Maddox will be shared with South School and Sacred Heart as the new speech pathologist.

South School
Gale Froeschl has moved from her position as a second grade teacher to be shared with North School as the elementary Media Specialist and with Sacred Heart as a Title I teacher. Sherry Maddox will be a speech pathologist serving South School, middle school, and Sacred Heart. Katy Gifford will be the new South School Life Skills teacher. Laurel Valentine and Jarod Remmers are joining the South School staff as fifth grade teachers. Mary Beth Rowell has moved from North School food service to South School as a Life Skills paraprofessional.

North School
Gale Froeschl has moved from her position as a second grade teacher to be shared with North School as the elementary Media Specialist and with Sacred Heart as a Title I teacher. Tracie Heckenlively will serve North School and preschool children as a speech pathologist. Jessica Snethen is changing her assignment as a fifth grade teacher to be the new Title I teacher at North School. Jessica Miller will join the staff as a new second grade teacher.
