"Help Wanted" places fourth at Districts;
four actors receive "Outstanding" awards

Cast and crew members from the One Act plays gather for a picture. Students with nothing listed behind their name were in "Help Wanted" or were a crew member. The name of the One Act play other students were in is behind their name. The cast of the One Act play "Help Wanted" placed fourth at the B-1 District One Act Contest. It was held at Platteview High School on Monday, December 4.

The FCHS cast of the one act earned a rating of "Superior" with one judge giving them a score of 56 out of 60. Julianne Kopf, Lisa Kopf, Skylar Olberding, and Zach Ernst received "Outstanding Performance" awards.

"The performance at Districts was overwhelming!" exclaimed Kris Simon, director of the One Acts. "The audience's response was worth all the hard work the performers had put into this production." She added that students from other schools commented on how this show "was their favorite". In the critique, the judges were impressed with the amount of energy the students maintained throughout the play. "This was a fun group to work with and I am very proud of the results," concluded Mrs. Simon.
