Heckenlively begins as superintendent

On July 1, Tim Heckenlively, the former principal at North Elementary School, began his tenure as Superintendent of Schools.

Mr. Heckenlively was hired by the School Board in March. He was selected after a number of highly qualified candidates were interviewed by several committees of community members, staff, and administrators in addition to the full Board.

Board President John Martin welcomed the new superintendent to his new position at the July Board of Education meeting. “Tim is a great young administrator with a promising future. We are fortunate that he and his family are here in Falls City and are committed to our school district and community,” said Martin.
