South School students win trivia contest

Winners of the Nebraska Trivia Bowl are Tyler Harms, Morgan Bletscher, Eddie Fritz, and Erik Eickhoff.

The 20th Annual Nebraska Trivia Bowl was held on Thursday, May 7, in conjunction with the Partners in Education meeting. Fifteen 4th graders from South Elementary School competed using the new technology devices called "Clickers." These are individual response devices that send answers to a remote which is connected to a computer that keeps track of everyone's
answers. After three rounds of questioning the following students were determined the winners:

1st - Erik Eickhoff
2nd- Eddie Fritz
3rd- Morgan Bletscher
4th- Tyler Harms

Serving as judges were 4th grade teachers Kris Ogle, Danitra Lenard, and Denise Kurpgeweit. The PIE organization provided the prizes and refreshments.
