Outstanding Post Secondary Agriculture Program
Brian Miller the Agricultural Education Instructor at Falls City Public School was awarded the Outstanding Post Secondary Agriculture Program by the Nebraska Agricultural Educators Association (NAEA) at the NAEA Banquet held in Kearney on June 5th at the Nebraska Career Education Conference. Award winners are nominated and selected by their peers.
The Outstanding Postsecondary Agriculture Program Award recognizes exemplary postsecondary institutions and full-time young farmer and adult ag ed programs. Qualifying young farmer and/or adult ag ed program staff must devote at least 50 percent of their teaching time to this level of instruction. The Falls City welding program offer courses for the hobby welders and a manufacturing course which will qualify participants for a GMAW manufacturing job . The manufacturing course was developed to help meet the needs of local companies for trained professionals.
Falls City program will represent Nebraska at the regioanl level for the Outstanding Postsecondary Agriculture Program.NAEA is a professional organization consisting of 200 agricultural education instructors from across the state with membership also in National Association of Agricultural Educators.
