Early play helps children use and refine gross motor skills, react to each other socially, and improves cognitive development. Through the generous Sixpence Endowment Grant and Child Care Partnership, District 56 will bring a new play area to the Falls City community, designed specifically for toddlers and preschool age children. The new playground will create a space where young children can grow and learn together. The playground will feature a poured-in-place rubberized play surface.  The new toddler playground will be located at South School.
