Middle School Parents,
Last Friday all information about Middle School Track was sent home with your student. Practice begins Monday, March 11th. All physicals, forms, and t-shirt money must be turned in by Monday the 11th. If your student needs a new form, please have them get one from Coach Haines at Middle School.

The Falls City High School Quiz Bowl team competed at Weeping Water in the ECNC Tournament. The team was prepared and competed but was knocked out of the bracket by the eventual champion Mead. Mr. Jason Vitosh is the high school Quiz Bowl sponsor.

Monday, March 4th the Falls City Middle School participated in the ECNC QuizBowl hosted by Weeping Water. The 8th grade team went 3-0 in pool play and finished 4th in tournament action. The 7th grade team finished 2-1 in pool play and finished 1st in tournament action.

March is "Music in Our Schools" Month and today (March 4th) is Marching Music Day! To celebrate music programs in schools, share in the comments what your favorite music memory is! It could be a favorite marching show, piece of concert band or choir music, a trip, show choir performance, or any other music related memory.

People usually assume bacteria makes food unappetizing, inedible, or even toxic. However, some bacteria help to produce safe, nutritious, and good tasting food. Mrs. Fredrick's Biology students learned how to ferment milk with bacteria to make cheese. After making the cream cheese students flavored it and ate it during class

Congratulations to the February South School ROARS winners! These kids celebrated National Pig Day by creating an edible pig to enjoy for dessert. Great job!

The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program is highlighting avocados in March. Avocados are high in vitamin B6 &E, and they are a good source of vitamin C. Avocados can be eaten plain or you can make guacamole. For more information and recipes check out the pictures.
