Falls City high school inducted 20 new members into the National Honor Society on March 14th. Congratulations to all the new members and we look forward to your continued scholarship, leadership, character, and service. The 2022 NHS officers helped with the induction ceremony and to serve the new members and guests at a short reception.

Yesterday at high school the cooks made sure each student received a cookie for lunch in to acknowledge Pi Day (3-14). If the cookie had a 3" diameter, What was the circumference and area of the cookie?
On Wednesday, February 23rd, and Tuesday, March 1st, the Falls City FFA Chapter attended district CDEs. They were held at SCC in Beatrice where we were able to see the new facilities on campus. Teams competed in poultry, welding, vet science, livestock management, and floriculture contests. The poultry team of Jodie Uhri, Cayleigh Eickhoff, Makayla Mason, Lexi Brewer, and Katelynn Titus, placed 6th. The welding team of Thomas Fields, Ray Feek, Wyatt Olberding, and Peyton Doerr placed 4th, and will be attending state. The livestock management team of Justin Brewer, Ray Feek, Jodie Uhri, Cayleigh Eickhoff, and Makayla Mason placed 6th. The livestock management team of Olivia Frederick, Jozie Kirkendall, Lexi Brewer, Wyatt Olberding, and Kemper Foster placed 9th. The floriculture team of Grace Morris, Havyn Ruiz, Eliza Kuker, and Kaleigh Heath placed 6th. We had a great time at the contests and had a successful day!
On Sunday, March 13th, 2022 the Falls City FFA Chapter held the annual labor auction and pancake feed. Members arrived early to help prepare the food for the pancake feed. This year, 18 FFA members and Mr. Miller were auctioned off. Each student that is auctioned off is required to do eight hours of labor for the person who purchased their labor. We had an amazing turnout and great support from our community!
