Week 2 Summer Football update:
After 2 weeks we have 36 HS Football Players and 35 JH Football Players potentially.
9 HS and 9 JH Football players had a perfect week
8 HS and 6 JH Football Players have not missed a day
18 HS and 15 JH Football Players are above the 75% attendance goal
See Photo for summer totals.

Parents of 6th 7th and 8th graders who want to play football. Players can come to weights at 9:00am (30 minutes early) on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday if they would like to learn and practice football fundementals with coaches before their weights workout.
Congratulations to Carson Bredemeier, Jon Craig, Charlie McNeely, & Jaxyn Strauss for being selected as honorable mention all-state Baseball players for 2022.
Look for a weekly Friday update on Weights and Football Conditioning. I will post the attendance for all Tiger football players on Fridays. (See attached Picture: All players in yellow had perfect attendance this week) The goal is for every High School and Middle School football player to hit 75% of the total days by the end of the summer. This allows for vacations etc. Parents are the key in getting kids to workouts. Consistently successful programs have families who commit to the process not just Friday nights. The coaches promise that we will be ready to work every day with whomever shows up. My challenge to Tiger nation is to match that intensity. Football is unique in that we need a minimum of thirty guys turning the block yellow each week! (Coach Coatney, change that color to Orange!) We are off to a good start but we will know a lot more around mid-July. Learn to love the grind! Stay tuned.

FCPS District Data Retreat today with our district data team. Great conversations and plan as we begin planning for 2022-23!

Would you like a helmet for your man cave or your she shed? We have some outdated helmets that need to go. Twenty dollars per helmet. You can buy them at middle school until they are gone. The office is open from 8AM to 3PM.

No football walk throughs on Friday 5/27. A lot of guys are out of town for the holiday. If you want up to date information on Football activities have players check their email. That is the mode of communication we have decided to use this summer. Thanks everyone!
