Falls City Speech team attended the Fairbury Invite last Saturday. OID varsity teams placed 1st and 2nd. Gunner, Trinity, Madison, and Sophie were 1st and Malesa, Sierrah, and Ruby were 2nd. Grace Morris placed 3rd and Gunner Lippold 1st in other categories. Other students medaled in the novice category. Great job Tigers and Mrs. Simon.


There has been a time change for the first trap shooting practice. It will be on January 15th, 1:30PM at the Jaycee arena. Students must be in the 6th grade or higher to participate. This is not a FCPS sponsored club but if interested just attend the first practice on January 15th.

Tiger wrestlers wrap up their Friday night and will back on the mats tomorrow morning to finish the dual tournament in Tri-County.

Would your students be interested in shooting trap? If so the first practice for the trap shooting team will be on January 15th at 1PM at the Jaycee arena. This is not a Falls City Public School team but it is run by the local organization. Students must be in 6th grade to be a part of the team. If interested just show up and dress for the weather as it is outside.

These 6th grade students also met their second quarter reading goals and will join the previously posted students with a trip to the movie theater in Auburn later this month. Way to go! Keep reading six grade!


This message is for Middle School Girls Basketball parents. Tonight practice will be over at 5:30PM. The girls practice at Falls City Middle School unless other instructions are given by the coach. Middle School Girls Basketball practice will begin on Thursday after school. All girls who would like to participate in basketball must have a physical on file with the school along with appropriate paperwork. If the girls played volleyball they are good to go.
