South School Honor Roll students for second semester. We are very proud of our students and their accomplishments this year. Here are a few pictures of the students who made the honor roll.
Congratulations 400 M relay team on your 5th place finish at State and breaking the school record. (50.21) Team of Ashleigh Kirkendall, Taylor Kreifels, Lilly Thomas, and RaeAnn Thompson.
Congratulations to RaeAnn Thompson on her Class B record sprint in the 100 M dash (12.03) and back to back Class B 100 M dash golds. RaeAnn placed 2nd in the 200 M dash breaking her own school record by running a 25.15.
The 6th graders had their annual bubble gum lab on the last day of school. The record for the longest stretch was 15 meters! The biggest bubble was 9 centimeters.

Its been a crazy couple of days and I am just getting around to posting pictures of our Falls City Middle School promotion and awards ceremony. Congrats class of 2026 and good luck next year. Congrats to Burke Wissman our FCMS student of the year! Congrats to our NJHS Inductees, Officers, AOK winners, Titanium Tigers and NSCAS Champs! Thanks for a wonderful year! See you all in August when we welcome in our new crop of 6th graders!
Annual Fifth Grade End of the Year Kickball Tourney. Started in 2002 by Diana Kottich, Jessica Howard, and Cece Simon. Diana made the trophy and it has been passed to the winning class for 20 years.
We have a time change for tomorrow's South School Field Day. The start time is now 12:30 p.m. for Wednesday, May 18. This change is due to the rain forecast for tonight. It will still be at the High School.
Congratulations to Brandon Feighner on his first place finish and Reagan McNeely on her 2nd place finish in the 5th and 6th Grade Division of the American Legion Auxiliary Americanism essay contest. Great Job!

Tonight is our Annual Promotion and Awards Ceremony at Prichard Auditorium. The program will start at 6:00PM. Doors open at 5:30. All FCMS students and families are invited. Those being recognized also received a letter in the mail. Students have reserved seating on the floor. There is additional floor seating for parents as well. You are welcome to move about and take pictures during the ceremony just be sure not to obstruct anyones view. The program will be carried on our STRIVE channel. The Cody Jones Memorial Football Camp is being moved to a 1pm start time due to inclement weather this morning. Click on the photo for the full statement.
We had a beautiful morning for the Cody Jones memorial football camp. Falls City Tiger coaches worked with the coaches from the FC Flag Football League to run the camp. We had over 180 future football players in attendance. Thanks everyone for a great day!
