Thank you to Sheriff Hardesty for setting up our presentation this morning with our local DEA and FBI offices. Our students learned about the dangers of street drugs and about careers in the FBI and DEA.

As we head into March, the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program will be highlighting broccoli. Broccoli is a well known vegetable that can be served raw or cooked. Did you know that a cup of broccoli contains more vitamin C than an orange, which will helps promote a healthy immune system. There are many fun facts highlighted in the attached pictures, like broccoli is part of the cabbage family and lots of broccoli is grown in Nebraska. Also check out the broccoli recipes.

Thank you

Congratulations to senior Dalton Helmick, son of, David and Jenny Helmick, who signed a letter of intent to play football this fall for Hastings College. Dalton has been a tremendous leader and started both ways for the Tiger squad this season. Dalton worked hard in practice and was an outstanding teammate. Dalton was willing to play any role the coaches thought could help the team. Daltons teammates, coaches, and friends will be excited to watch him compete for the crimson and white of the Broncos. We wish Dalton the best of luck next year at the next level!
