Fellowship of Christian Athletes from high school and middle school stuffed stockings to be dispersed as gifts through Sixpence. This was the third year FCA served the community through this project.

First grade students in Mrs. Glathar’s classroom did a science experiment with candy canes. They predicted what would happen to the candy cane when they put it in hot water, cold water, and vinegar. Then they tested the candy canes in each liquid.

On Monday evening, League of Legends players Ethan Boatright, Ethan Morris, Peyton Brown, Brock Caudle, Eric Heinzelman, and Matthew Eaton competed against Gretna, NE. On Thursday evening the Mario Kart teams competed against Platteview and Nebraska City.

The North School Christmas Program is tomorrow evening, Thursday, December 9th at 7:00 p.m. at Prichard Auditorium. The doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The program is for all students K-2nd grade and will be streamed on SRTIV (https://striv.tv/channel/falls-city/).


Girls Basketball game on Tuesday, December 14 at Southern will start at 6pm. JV's will only play 1 quarter. Varsity game will start at approximately
6:45pm.

The Southeast District Health Department will be open today, December 8th, from 10 AM to 5:30 PM for COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer vaccine (children doses) kids ages 5+) at their office in Auburn. This is a walk-in clinic, no appointment is necessary. Richardson County has seen a significant rise in Covid and the new variant, Omicron, has also been identified in Nebraska. Some of you have asked about getting the Covid vaccination. Your student will be excused if you choose to take them out of class to have them vaccinated.
CMC offers Pfizer and Moderna vaccines on Thursday's. Anyone 5 years and older is now eligible. Anyone 18 and older are eligible for the booster. You can register online at vaccinate.ne.gov or call 402-245-6547 to schedule an appointment.

Reminder that tonight is the last FCMS parent meeting of the semester. We will be discussing the Second Step curriculum that we use on Wednesdays here at FCMS. The meeting will be in the Library at 6:00PM.

FCMS students participated in a highly scientific study to determine the gender of Ms. O'Briens baby. Students wore pink or blue to guess the gender. Based on the picture, it looks like she will be welcoming a baby boy this spring. Congrats Ms O and Jack is a great name!
