Mrs Hunzeker made a post on her Facebook page that this year she would like to find sponsors to provide $9.00 for each of her students to get a LINED hat to keep at school! When she woke up her
Venmo had enough to provide the ENTIRE kindergarten class to have a lined hat. Mrs Hunzeker’s class was also provided with lined gloves for each student!
The students were so excited to be able to pick out whatever hat they wanted. And during the recess, Mrs. Hunzeker was told many times. Thank you for the hat and I am so warm.

On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in front of family, friends, and teachers, 11 High School musicians were inducted into the Tri-M Music Honor Society in the Falls City High School Auditorium. Ethan Boatright, Brock Caudle, Andrew Hower, Gunner Lippold, Trinity Pierce, Kinsie Riggs, Christian Saul, Harley Sutton, Bailey Thimmes, Avery Wendtlandt, and Caleb Zimmerman are the FIRST class to be inducted into Chapter #9367. These music students were carefully selected by their High School Music Directors on the basis of scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Scholarship represents scholastic achievement and open-mindedness toward knowledge and truth. Character emphasizes a devotion to high ideals and recognizes no barriers between people of diverse backgrounds. Leadership guides us to great undertakings. And service encourages assistance and kindness to others. The name Tri-M was derived from the original name of the honor society-Modern Music Masters.
A member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society is one who sets a good example, is always willing to assist those students who are striving to better themselves in the music department, and always remembers that real honor brings responsibility.
The Tri-M emblem was designed to symbolize the function and purpose of the honor society. The music staff, the lyre, and the scroll represent the members’ proficiency and service in the field of music. The triplet figure in the form of an M symbolizes the three M’s in the name Modern Music Masters, from which the society’s name was derived.
Alisha Sutton-Director of Choirs & Piano at FCMS/FCHS is the chapter's Sponsor.
