The Horticulture Class at the Falls City High School finished up their work on a project for a couple community members this week! Pictured from Left to right are Josh Frederick, Morgan Dumont, Kaleigh Heath, Mason Collier, and Austyn Munford (not pictured Ethan Morris and Makayla Eberle). The class created designs according to the customers needs, adjusted as necessary and then made the design come to life! Although some of the plants were young and still need to grow into the design, the community members were happy with the results! District Golf at Quail Run in Columbus

Today the 4th graders took a field trip to the Nebraska State Capitol. Students have been learning about Nebraska history all year long with topics such as Native Americans, pioneers, farmers, state symbols, branches of government, etc. Students were able to see the textbook come to life as we toured the Capitol and saw many familiar sights that they first saw in the textbook. After the tour, the Ag Sack Lunch Program provided each student with a lunch. The program ambassadors also taught an agriculture lesson while the students ate their meal.

Today our 6th graders came to North School as Reading Buddies for our Kindergarten students. This was a great experience and opportunity for both grades.

For those who will be attending the sports physicals tonight at Community Medical Center, we just received word that students DO NOT need to bring a urine sample. We will announce this in the schools today but we want to make parents aware as well. Physicals run from 4-6PM and a bus will be available to transport students from middle school to the hospital at 4:00PM. We will return to middle school once all the bus riders have completed their physicals.
