Falls City Tiger Esports will be streaming their Valorant match against Stanton, NE, this evening at 6. We will also try and stream some of our Smash Bros Ultimate match with Exter-Milligan-Friend starting at 5:45. Our varsity Valorant (0-1) lost a close match with Kearney Catholic last week. Our varsity Smash team 1 (1-3) and team 2 (1-3) went 1-1 last week against Ord, NE.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be October 17th and 19th. Please select a time where you are available to come to school to discuss your child's academic progress in school. Parent/teacher conferences is a great opportunity to share academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, testing data, assessments, and assignments. Lady Tigers Softball are in action today at sub districts in Fort Calhoun. First game is at 12pm vs Syracuse.

Middle School students will be bringing home their 3 week grade reports this evening.

The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program will highlighting watermelon in October. Watermelon are a sweet delicious snack to enjoy. There are many varieties and sizes that watermelon come in. Watermelon can be grown in Nebraska during the summer months. They are also a good source of Vitamin A & C. Check out the attached information sheets and recipes.

The R.O.A.R.S winners at South School were able to eat lunch and play a fun game of Hedbanz with Falls City Journal employee Chelsie Alexander. Falls City Public Schools appreciates our community partnerships.

The North School September R.O.A.R.S. Jam was a success! Congratulations to the student winners. Thank you Frontier Bank for our special lunch visitors! Also, thank you Dollar Fresh for the free slushy certificates for our top students!

Middle school FCA met Friday morning at 7:40 in the media center. Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader is welcome to get involved. Meetings take place twice a month and breakfast is provided.

Last night the Tiger Volleyball team traveled to Horton and came away with two wins. The JV team won 2-1 and the Varsity won a 5 set thriller 3-2. The Varsity team moves to 10-8 on the season and will be at JCC tomorrow for three tournament games. 🏐💪🏼

South School celebrated the Top R.O.A.R.S winners for September. Students earn ROARS tickets by showing PBIS behaviors that are Responsible, Organized, Appropriate Behaviors, Respectful, and Safe. These students receive a free slushy from Dollar Fresh. Congratulations!
