Shorthanded at practice? No problem, just suit up a couple of coaches well past their prime! Can you spot them. Uncle Rico would be proud. I don't think those throwback helmets are street legal in 2022.

The 3rd grader girls participated in the Hiawatha Volleyball League. We had two teams Tiny Cubs(gray) and Tiny Tigers (black). They learned passing, setting, serving, working as a team, and the love of the game. In six weeks they all improved immensely. Tiny Tigers got 3rd in the tournament even with having to play with only 5 players. Tiny Cubs fought hard and made it to the second round. A special thank you to former Tiger volleyball standout Kailyn Frederick for co-coaching and imparting her wisdom. So proud of these girls.

Here is your Falls City 6th Grade Club Volleyball team. We had enough girls for two teams this year to participate in the Hiawatha League! There was so much improvement made over the course of the 6 weeks of practice and games. Special thank you to the parents that helped with open gyms on Saturday mornings and to Kaitlyn Kirkendall, Ashleigh Kirkendall, and Chelsae Campbell for volunteering their time to assist and coach on Sunday afternoons. Congratulations to the Orange team for being the 6th Grade Tournament Champions! Proud of you all! -Coach Maygan Ramsey

FCMS parents: The weather is changing and students need to be dressed appropriately for the weather. Students who ride the bus or eat breakfast are allowed in the building at 7:45 or when the bus arrives. If you live in town and do not eat breakfast do not arrive before 8:00AM. If students arrive before the doors open they have to wait outside and need to be dressed appropriately. This morning we had students standing outside at 7:30 in shorts. Middle school staff are not on duty until 8:00AM. Thank you for your help with this!
