
The High School student athletes and cheerleaders came to South School this morning to greet our students. Officer Ramirez also joined in on the fun.


Great evening for Tiger athletics. Softball team wins 18-0 over Souther/D-O. Volleyball team win 2-0 over Southern and 2-1 over Johnson-Brock.

Softball team will have a scorcher at Hartman Field tonight as they take on Southern in a varsity only at 5:30 pm.


Good luck to the Tiger Volleyball team and coaches as they open their season with matches against Southern at 5 pm and Johnson-Brock at 7pm.

Mr. Lampe's Computer Coding 2 class completed the K’Nex Swing Ride as a team-building activity as part of the kickoff to our new school year. Coding is a great career option for the future and one that can be undertaken right here in Falls City!

The Auburn Cross Country meet that Falls City was attending Thursday, August 26th is postponed due to forecasted weather. Make-up date is September 7th with 4:30pm start.

Platteview Friday Night Football Info: Visiting fans enter the far north entrance, the visiting bleachers are located on the east side of the stadium. Porta potties are located for your spectators on the east side, as well as Concessions near the visiting bleachers.

The local police department is making an effort this year to have more of a presence in our schools. Yesterday, officer Ramirez came to South school and toured our building. During this tour he popped in on Miss Ramsey's third grade classroom to say hi and introduce himself.


Middle School students will be bringing home order forms for the Activity Button Fundraiser today. Photos will be taken on Friday along with regular school pictures. If you are interested in ordering an activity button return the sheet with payment on picture day.

Falls City Tigers Football team travels to Platteview on Friday. Fans can watch the game on nfhsnetwork.com. You must create an account, but all events are free to watch.

This week will be the start of the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program for Falls City Public Schools. The FFVP will be served to students Grade K-6 three times a week. A variety of fruits and vegetables will be served through out the school year, giving students to try new foods while providing a nutritious healthy snack. Each month a different fruit or vegetable will be highlighted. Watermelon is the fruit of the month for August; information and recipes are included in the attached pictures.
