Our first Parent meeting for Falls City Middle School will be on Thursday September 2nd at 6:00PM in the FCMS Library. For new parents this is an opportunity to meet with the principal and discuss upcoming events and happenings at FCMS.
FCMS Middle School Parent Reminders:
Breakfast starts at 7:45. Bus riders and Breakfast students will be allowed in at 7:45AM. If students do not eat breakfast or ride the bus they should not arrive before 8:00AM. The doors open at 8:07.
The Makerspace will be open to students on Monday and Wednesday from 3:35 till 4:00PM. Limit 12 students at a time.
Please do not drop off students in the bus loading zone if front of the school. Utilize the parking lots for parent drop off.
The Middle School office opens at 7:30AM. If you try to call before that there is no one in the office.

Today in Mrs Hogue’s math class, our first day of school had 8th grade math students kicking off their shoes and participated in a team building activity called the “Leaning Tower of Feetza”. Students had 3 minutes to build the most stable and tallest tower from their team members shoes. Using critical thinking skills and a variety of methods with different styles of shoes, students were able to identify how timed skills make us become more strategic and how they can handle stress and adversity. Great discussions took place from this task. Welcome back FCMS students!

Below is a Map of the pick up and drop off locations for FCMS. It is illegal to drop students off in the areas designated for busses marked in red. It is also illegal to drop students on the east side of Morton St which is lined with No Parking signs. Just a reminder for 6th grade parents that next Tuesday August 10th we will be meeting at 6:00PM in the FCMS Gym for 6th grade orientation. Parents and students are invited to this event. New students in 7th or 8th are also invited along with their parents.

High School Band Parent meeting will take place Friday the 6th at 6pm at Jug Brown Stadium. At 6:30pm the public is invited to our band camp show at the stadium. Preview of skills learned and sneak peak at our competition show. Admission is FREE.
