Dear FCPS Families,
With Halloween approaching, we’d like to remind everyone that costumes and masks will not be allowed in school buildings on October 31st. Our goal is to maintain a productive and focused learning environment for all students, helping to ensure a safe and comfortable day for everyone. If students bring a costume or mask to school on Thursday, they will be confiscated and returned at the end of the school day.
We appreciate your support in helping us keep our school day on track.
Thank you for your understanding, and we wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Halloween!

Michael Kelly from the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska was able to come work with our 4th grade students again this year. The students have been learning about Native American way of life. He gave a presentation on the Iowa Tribe and had the students create a “bullroarer”. What a great learning opportunity for our students!

The Falls City Tiger players and coaches would like to say thanks to the community for your support this season. The team wrapped up the 2024 campaign with a 21-14 victory over Fairbury on Friday night. Yesterday the team celebrated the end of the year with our annual steak feed. With your help we were able to raise over $11,000 dollars for our program this year through our annual fundraiser. The crowds were great this year at the JH, JV and the Varsity level with phenomenal crowd support for Homecoming and Auburn especially. Most importantly we took a good step forward this year with 80% of our High School players hitting their summer weights goal. As a result the JH finished the year 4-1, the JV 4-2 and the Varsity 5-4. Every team finished with a winning season. We want to send a special thanks to our seniors as they head on to the next chapter in their lives. GO TIGERS!!!
