We are so fortunate to have the support of the Falls City Elks club. Tonight they hosted a dinner to celebrate our 8th grade NJHS students & our students who placed at state, both Sacred Heart & FCPS, in the Americanism essay contest. Thank you for celebrating our students & congratulations to all of these kids for their hard work & dedication to our community.

5th Grade Tellers from Falls City Public and Falls City Sacred Heart attended the Stellar Teller event at the Omaha Federal Reserve. Both schools represented Falls City well. Outstanding children’s book author, Julia Cook, gave a fabulous presentation to all students to educate them on earning, spending, saving, and giving money. She used two books to support her presentation called “Cliques Just Don’t Make Cents” and “I am Money”. Each participant received a signed copy of this second book.
Furthermore, Garrett Kirkendall was recognized as the Tiger Branch Bank Stellar Teller of the Year! We are very proud of Garrett and his contributions to this program.
They ended the afternoon with putt-putt golf sponsored by Frontier Bank. What a great day celebrating the In-School Savings Program!

Wednesday, May 7th, is National School Nurses Day! Our nurses support students across the district on a daily basis.
