Our Junior English students have been hard at work!
They drafted multiple ACT-style writing prompts, analyzed the rubric, and practiced targeted areas for improvement. Students then shared a writing sample with teacher candidates at Peru State College. After reading and reflecting on the feedback they received, many students saw real growth in their writing.
What an amazing partnership opportunity—thank you, PSC and FC juniors!

Greetings, As we move into the colder months, we have two important reminders to help keep all students safe and prepared:
1. Bus Lane Safety Please do not park or stop in the bus lane before or after school. Keeping this area clear ensures a safe and smooth transition for our students getting on and off the buses.
2. Cold Weather Preparedness With winter approaching, please encourage your child to dress appropriately for the weather: coat, hat, gloves, etc. Doors to each building open at 7:45 AM, and students may be outside before that time.
If your family needs help accessing warm clothing or winter gear, please reach out and we can help connect you with available resources.
Thank you for helping us keep all students safe, warm, and ready to learn!
