FCMS National Junior High Honor Society led the Falls City Middle School in hosting the fourth annual food drive, collecting 734 items to donate to the SENCA food pantry. The food items donated will help people in Richardson county who are food insecure and help to rid the effects of food insecurity like serious health complications from not having adequate and healthy food to learn and grow. The Delta Kappa Gamma Women Educators also donated items.
NJHS students created fun, food-themed days and set a series of goals with staff volunteering to dress in inflatable costumes to play Twister for each 200 increment up to 1000: Kory Huppert (Barney), Jamie Milam (unicorn), and Tayten Keller (alien). A tie game resulted in Huppert as champion through a dance competition.
Through Thrivent’s November Food Shelf Challenge, $500 was also donated to SENCA.

Best of luck to the Falls City Tiger wrestling team and coaches as they travel to Syracuse to take on the Rockets on opening night of the 2023-24 season. (6 pm start)
