Parent Teacher Conferences will be October 22nd and 24th. Please select a time where you are available to come to school to discuss your child's academic progress in school. Parent/teacher conferences is a great opportunity to share academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, testing data, assessments, and assignments.
Childcare will be provided in the gym to allow an opportunity for parents to conference with their child's teachers.
In addition, the Scholastic Book Fair will be set up in library during conferences.

Tiger ESports Set Personal Best Viewership Record On Their Twitch Channel Tuesday With League of Legends Match!
*Varsity League of Legends defeated Mitchell, NE, to improve to 2-0. (Ethan Boatright (C) "Mid", Peyton Brown (C) "Jungle", Ethan Morris "ADC", Kamdyn Huppert "Top", Royce Capek "Support", Brock Caudle, Andre Shafer, and Thomas West are subs. Announcing the stream was Thomas West and Kreighton Huppert.
*Varsity Overwatch 2 lost to Freeman, NE. They are now 0-2. (Dayton Snethen and Deacon Jacobs are Supports, Christian Saul is the Tank, Tripp Lippold, Avery Wendtlandt, Xaiver Luginbill, and Carter Rumbaugh are ADCs).
*Varsity Super Smash Bros went 1-1 against Kearney Catholic. Team 1 won 2-0 (Camden Jean and Deacon Jacobs) Andy are now 2-1 on the season, and Team 2 lost 1-2 (Carter Rumbaugh, Asher Kuker, and Xaiver Luginbill) and are more 1-2 overall.

On Saturday, October 5th, Falls City Middle School participated in the Norris Math Competition. A team of 4 students: Audrey Scrivens, Peyton Weddle, Elijah Diltz, and Collin Roberts took part in the individual math test and team QuizBowl. Elijah Diltz placed 1st among all competitors on the individual test while the quiz bowl team also claimed 1st place. Terri Hogue was their sponsor.

After ACT practice testing all morning, some of Mrs. Boatright's junior and senior English classes enjoyed reading, writing, and using story cubes to share creative stories while outside.
Congrats to the Falls City land judgers! Bowdy Jones is district land judging CHAMPION beating over 300 other contestants! He also helped propel a Falls City team into the STATE land judging competition!
Bowdy and other team qualifiers of Dayton Snethen, Malori Kuker, and Taiylah Moore will compete in Norfolk on Oct 16th!

Lady Tiger Middle School and High School have home games today. Middle School at 4pm at MS gym vs Johnson-Brock ( A followed by B). High School takes on Lincoln Christian at 6 pm. It is parent's night. Recognition will take place before the game.
Mrs. Vonderschmidt took her upper elementary Life Skills students on a field trip to the Lincoln Children's Zoo today to take part in the Sensory Safari.
Visually and sensory impaired students got the opportunity to touch, feel, hear, and smell at the different interpretive stations located throughout the zoo.
There were nature experts from organizations across Nebraska at each station.
It was a beautiful day outside and a wonderful way to engage her students in the learning process!

Happy National Custodian Appreciation Day, Scott! All of us at South School are very grateful for everything you do on a daily basis. The kids were able to write him notes, decorate his door, and thank him throughout the day. We also got him his favorite drink to help celebrate.
