South School celebrated the Top R.O.A.R.S winners for September. Students earn ROARS tickets by showing PBIS behaviors that are Responsible, Organized, Appropriate Behaviors, Respectful, and Safe. These students receive a free slushy from Dollar Fresh. Congratulations!

Middle School FCA met Friday morning at 7:40 in the media center. Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader is welcome to get involved. Meetings take place twice a month and breakfast is provided.

October is National Bullying Prevention month. Kreighton Huppert is the winner of the 9th annual t-shirt design contest. Order forms went home today for students to purchase. The shirts will be $11. All orders are due by Friday, September 29th.
Tiger Softball game at Syracuse on Monday, Sep. 25th has been moved to Tuesday, Sep. 26th at 6pm. This is due to Syracuse conference SB tourney got postponed to Monday.

Congratulations to the boys and girls CC teams yesterday at our home meet. Boys were the Champions, girls were the Runner-up. Next meet will be at Rock Port on Monday. Tallan Zimmerman was 1st followed by Ryker McCullugh in 2nd. Thanks to everyone who came out to support.

Varsity Football game at Syracuse tomorrow will be a 6pm kickoff.
Juniors in Mrs. Zoeller's English III class are peer editing introductory paragraphs. Students learn a great deal when they get feedback from their peers. The introductory paragraph is important in motivating and stating the topic, as well as, identifying the the writer's position on the topic.

selections for August High School Students of the Month. The honors go to the following students:
Upperclassmen- Wyatt Olberding, a senior, is the son of Dusty and Misty Olberding, Ashleigh Kirkendall, a senior, is the daughter of Jeremy and Laura Kirkendall.
Underclassmen- Bowdy Jones, a freshman, is the son of Dan and Stephane Jones. Ella Glathar, a sophomore, is the daughter of Kris and Ali Glathar.

On September 18th, FCHS hosted our EPP/College Fair. 40 college reps from 4 states provided program information to our junior and senior students and students from Sacred Heart and HTRS. Immediately following that program our seniors participated in Apply to college. Thank you to Ms. Barker and Mrs. Erickson for the program and opportunity for our students.
Members of the Yearbook staff attended a workshop at Mahoney State Park. They learned about photography, page designs, and caption writing. The students also worked on designing the Yearbook cover and developing their theme. #ourtigerera
