
We are excited to announce that Mrs. Boatright will be teaching at high school in the English department for the 2024-2025 school year. Mrs. Boatright is currently part of the 6th grade team at Middle School. She holds a masters degree in reading and we are excited to see how she can utilize these skills to promote the development of our scholars.


We are excited to announce that Mr. Ellis will be joining our faculty as the K-5th grade music teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Mr. Ellis is currently the K-12 music teacher at Franklin Public School in Franklin, Nebraska. He has been teaching for three years. Mr. Ellis is a graduate of Hastings College. Please help us in welcoming Mr. Ellis to Falls City Public Schools!

Congratulations to the following 6th graders who advanced from classroom competitions to compete against fellow 6th graders in the grade-level competition of the Southeast Nebraska Speech contest. Tuesday afternoon the Smash Bros ESports team of Camden Jean, Asher Kuker, and Carter Rumbaugh defeated Hastings to improve to 2-0.

On Wednesday February 21, the 6th grade teams from Falls City Middle School competed at the Freeman Quiz Bowl Tournament. Even though the teams did not place, they are continuing to improve.


Wyatt and Robert puts their name on the state placing board. Both of them finished 4th in their respective classes.

Our 6th grade Family & Consumer Science class completed their t-shirt pillow projects. Great work!


Great after school activity! The K-12 Stalder Gallery Art Show and Contest Open House and Reception is this afternoon from 3:30-5. It will be in the gallery at the City Library.

The Falls City Tiger Middle School Wrestling Team traveled to Sidney, Iowa tonight for the first tournament of the season. The Tigers battled, with 9 out of 16 wrestlers picking up at least 1 win. This is a young, inexperienced squad but they wrestled tough and never gave up. Coaches are excited to see the progress that will be made this year. Come support the team for their only home tournament on Thursday at FCHS starting at 4pm. Let’s pack the house for our young wrestlers

After 3 days at Nebraska Wesleyan, Gunner Lippold, Sierrah Vermeer, and Trinity Pierce performed a concert at NWU's auditorium on Saturday, 2/17! They had a great experience with Dr. Roach and Dr. Lundahl. Great job, FCHS Band! 🎉🎶🐅
