The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program will be highlighting Pineapple in May. Pineapple can be eaten raw or cooked. They are also very nutritious, because they are sodium free and a good source of Vitamin C. Check out the many interesting facts on the attached information and recipe sheet.

Congratulations to the varsity League of Legends team (7-2) on their 3rd Place finish at the 2023 NSESA Spring Season State Tournament held at Concordia University. In 2020-21 the Overwatch team placed 4th at state and last year the Rocket League team finished 4th.

Summer weights is just around the corner. We are celebrating our middle school lifters who made it to 75% or more of the lifting sessions. Weights sessions for middle school students are open to all 6th through 8th graders. We start at 9:30 AM Monday through Thursday. Lets have another great summer in 2023!

Thank your F&M Bank for coming to visit our 2nd grade classrooms today. Each child learned about saving money and brought home their own piggy bank.
Mrs. Julie Frederick's Anatomy class is dissecting fetal pigs for comparison with the human body. This Unit is a wrap up from the year learning all the human body systems.
We were able to have hands on experience and observe the skeletal, muscular, digestive, urinary systems, etc... The dissecting unit will be followed up by our trip to the cadaver lab next week in Lincoln.
District Baseball will be at Platteview on Thursday, May 4th. 4:00pm will be game time. Field is located at 271 South 6th st. in Springfield.
