Today was the start of Baking Club at Falls City Middle School. We have a great group of students , enjoying Oreo Cheesecake Bites!
There will be a Sophomore Class Parents Meeting next Wednesday 10/11 at 6pm at the Elk’s Club. Main topic will be the Quarter Auction. We will be finalizing the food menu and start food donation and volunteer sign-up. We would also like to start collecting your auction items that you have received or are donating yourself. Auction items can be brought that night or contact Sara Rue (402-801-2733) to arrange pick up.

Falls City Tiger Esports will be streaming their Valorant match against Stanton, NE, this evening at 6. We will also try and stream some of our Smash Bros Ultimate match with Exter-Milligan-Friend starting at 5:45. Our varsity Valorant (0-1) lost a close match with Kearney Catholic last week. Our varsity Smash team 1 (1-3) and team 2 (1-3) went 1-1 last week against Ord, NE.

Lady Tigers Softball are in action today at sub districts in Fort Calhoun. First game is at 12pm vs Syracuse.
Middle School students will be bringing home their 3 week grade reports this evening.
The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program will highlighting watermelon in October. Watermelon are a sweet delicious snack to enjoy. There are many varieties and sizes that watermelon come in. Watermelon can be grown in Nebraska during the summer months. They are also a good source of Vitamin A & C. Check out the attached information sheets and recipes.
The R.O.A.R.S winners at South School were able to eat lunch and play a fun game of Hedbanz with Falls City Journal employee Chelsie Alexander. Falls City Public Schools appreciates our community partnerships.
