The Falls City Chapter of the National Junior High Honor Society held their 2nd Annual Kindness Challenge this week and February 28-March 4. Next week the Hope Squad will have themed dress up days to support acts of kindness. Students perform acts of kindness based on the theme for the day and receive kindness tickets for their acts, then they write the name of a staff member who they want to have spin the Wheel of Semi-Unfortunate each time 150 acts of kindness are recorded. On Tuesday, Mr. Bangert spun the wheel and was forced to wear a Denver Broncos jersey for the day. On Thursday, Mr. Huppert spun and landed on singing karaoke to the school throughout the day. Mr. Huppert’s Karaoke Playlist in order throughout the day: “You’ve Lost That Lovin Feelin’” “I Want It That Way” (with help from some 2nd Period 8th graders) “Islands in the Stream” (duet w/ Mrs. Crofford) “Ice Ice Baby” “Lose Yourself” (with help from some 6th Period 7th graders) “Livin’ on a Prayer” (with help from 8th graders in the picture) “Umbrella”

Just a reminder that the middle school bi-monthly parent meeting will be at 6:00PM on Monday February 21st in the FCMS Library.

FCPSeSports competed in Smash Ultimate against Centennial, NE, Tuesday evening. All three varsity teams went 1-1. Next week we compete against Bayard, NE, on 2/24. Varsity teams were Tripp Lippold/Alyks Finner, Cooper Nelson/Zavier Ebel, and Taven Luginbill/Jennifer Sweeney.
