The Elementary Art Show is Wednesday, May 3rd. Please come in and walk through the K-5th grade art display. See flyer.


Middle school will have track practice today from 3:30-4:40. No practice tomorrow.

Middle School track meet at Maryville,Mo has been cancelled for today.
Due to track conditions.

High School track meet at Louisville today is postponed due to the condition of the track and runways.

Middle School Track Parents, there is a change in the practice schedule. There will be no practice Friday, April 21st. There will now be practice Monday, April 24th. This will be a short practice, and will be over at 4:45. Reminder that tomorrow's track meet will be our first "cool" one of the season, please send athletes with layers and a water bottle.

The Kindergarten classes have been discussing Earth and we can all do our part to help keep it clean. Thank you Hamilton Recycling and Disposal for coming by to help discuss where their garbage goes after it leaves the classroom.


The 1st grade class went on a field trip to the Discovery Center in Topeka, KS. We would like to say "THANK YOU" to P.I.E. for paying the entry fee for all the students and teachers. Also thank you to the chaperones who attended.

Congratulations Audrey Scrivens!!! The essay she wrote for the Reavis-Ashley DAR contest placed first locally and at state, then advanced to the North Central Division Regional where she won second place!

The Kindergarten has been learning the best way to conserve Earth's natural resources is to practice the three Rs of conversation-reduce, reuse, and recycle. Hamilton Recycling and Disposal came and shared details about the journey of trash from its creation to its burial in a landfill and the steps in the recycling and composting processes.


The Jazz Band, Orchestra, and Concert Band performed their spring concert last night. The Orchestra and Concert Band played their pieces they will be taking to District Music Contest this Friday. Congratulations on a fantastic concert and thank you seniors for all your hard work!

District music contest for the High School Music Department will be Friday, April 21, 2023 in Auburn.
Orchestra-8:48 am
Concert Choir-10:20 am
Concert Band-2:08 pm
A number of small ensembles and solos will also compete.

The Middle School Spring Music Concert will be on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 7:00 pm in the High School New Gym. All music students need to report by 6:45. Bands will warm up in the band room. Choirs will find their seats.
All music students need to bring an extra shirt so they can leave their music polo with Mrs. Sutton at the conclusion of the concert.

DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION (DAR) ESSAY CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The 9-12th grade topic was "Select a figure from the era of the American Revolution (1773-1783). Discuss how he or she influenced the course of the American Revolution, who he or she was and his/her contribution to the founding of a new nation. Your figure may be any person, whether a well-known figure or an everyday man, woman, or child who supported the American Revolution in ways large or small."
The 12th grade 1st place winner was Stiephan Fields, the 2nd place winner was Elyse Poppe, and the 3rd place winner was Alexis Miller.
All of the 1st place winners of the local chapter advanced to state where they won 1st place! These essays moved on to the regional contest.
The winners of the local essay contest were honored at a reception at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 20th Towle St. on April 14th. The students read their essays to their families and the Reavis-Ashley members. Refreshments were served by the Reavis-Ashley Chapter.
