VB team getting ready to compete at the HTRS triangular.

There will be an 8th Grade Parent Meeting on Wednesday September 7th at 5:15PM in the Middle School cafeteria. Parents will discuss fundraisers and passing out raffle slips and concession stands.

The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program will be highlighting tomatoes as the fruit and vegetable during the month of September. Tomatoes are interesting because they are actually a fruit, but most think of them as a vegetable. There are other interesting facts and recipes on the attached pictures. The following link also shows what months the different fruits and vegetables are in season: https://fruitsandveggies.org/stories/what-fruits-and-vegetables-are-in-season/

Falls City Softball has moved the game vs Freeman on Tuesday, August 30th to 5:30pm 1st pitch.

Wednesday after school the 6th graders got their first opportunity to practice some of our NSESA sponsored ESports games as part of their ESports Club. We had 20 students sign up and participate. Most of them gravitated towards Overwatch, which is a team based strategy game where Heroes work together to complete objectives against another team. Students will get the opportunity to learn and practice all of our NSESA sponsored games in the coming weeks. Students can see Coach Findlay or Coach Huppert if they want to sign up.
On Monday, our Grades 7-12 ESports Fall Season began with practices being held every Monday from 3:20-7 and either Tuesdays or Thursdays. See Coach Huppert or Coach Findlay to join.
Players and parents are encouraged to join the FC ESports Band app to stay up to date on practice and competition times. You can contact Coach Huppert or Coach Findlay to get an invite.
