On Saturday, 3/29, Falls City High School had 5 students attend Nebraska Class B All State Honor Band! We celebrated the very first honor band experience for Tripp and Matthew and the last honor band experience for our seniors, Bailey, Drew, and Gunner. We are so proud of all your hard work to create great music!
Four of our students performed in the Symphonic band and Gunner performed as first chair clarinet in the Wind Ensemble 🎉🎶 Class B All State also offers a fantastic Jazz Band ensemble for all students in NSAA Class B to audition for as well, Hoorah Falls City! We look forward to attending again next spring🎵🐅

Baseball vs Omaha South postponed today due to impending weather.
The Falls City Middle School LoL team (4-1) defeated ELMS LoL (4-2) Monday after school to regain the top spot in the standings. The High School LoL team (1-4) lost to a very tough CHS Rangers team Monday evening.
Congratulations to the 8th graders who competed in the National History Day Competition at Peru State. Audrey Scrivens won 3rd place for individual documentary, Elijah Diltz won 1st in individual website, and Josslyn Bangert and Katie Rhodd won 1st for group documentary. Next step, STATE!
2025 Kindergarten Roundup and Signing day was a success! A great opportunity to visit the kindergarten classroom, assess kindergarten readiness skills and engage within the school!

The Digital Media class is needing your help. They need baby pictures of your seniors and any other photos to support the video. They will use the yearbook photo you submitted unless you would like another one to be used. They are especially looking for pictures of senior volleyball players and their parents.
Students in Mr. Wertenberger's Woods classes are sanding and glueing their projects this semester. The FCHS students have been busy learning how to use the machines as well as planning and assembling their projects. Look forward to seeing them finished.
Robbie Craig threw out the first pitch at the Tiger vs Lincoln Christian home baseball game yesterday. Robbie was influential in Falls City HS starting a baseball program. He coached at all levels of youth baseball. He has served on the booster club and supported Falls City athletics. Thank you Robbie for all of your support.

Tiger baseball at Omaha South, Brown Park, has moved up the game times from 1 :00 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:00 AM and immediately following. Trying to stay ahead of weather.
Ashland-Greenwood track meet scheduled for Saturday, March 29th has been cancelled due to forecasted weather. The meet will not be rescheduled.
Our first graders have been busy learning about animal habitats! From the deep ocean to the dense rainforest, they've been discovering how different animals adapt to their environments. Check out their dioramas!
Mr. Bangert and Mrs. Eickhoff are in Peru today looking for the next generation of Tiger teachers at the Peru State Career Fair. Go Tigers!
