English IV students are reading Harper Lee's novel To Kill a Mockingbird. They applied the advice Atticus gives Scout to "climb into his skin and walk around in it" or put yourselves in someone else's shoes. Students created "characters" when given various diverse shoes as well as wrote a personal reflection essay looking at a situation from various perspectives.
