First graders study habitats as part of the reading curriculum. They learn about the animals, climate, and adaptations. Each student made a habitat diorama to show what they learned. We even had live fish!

This year was another successful Kids Heart Challenge! The students completed all of their jumping and hooping during physical education. The students raised $1,352. Any student that raised 25 cents or more received a Heart Hero prize. Sam Waller was the top collector for the event! Thank you to everyone that donated.
