Unity Day is an event that occurs during National Bullying Prevention Month. To participate, we're asking that all elementary staff and students (PreK-5) wear orange next Wednesday to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent bullying.

Midland University Honor Choir Festival
Monday, October 14 at Midland University
The concert will begin at 5:00 pm. Tickets for the concert will be $5 and can be purchased in the Kimmel Theater Box office beginning at 4pm on the 14th. Cash is PREFERRED!
Due to the large number of singers, NO MORE than 2 family members per participant attend if possible.

Gunner, Trinity, & Harley were among 214 students who auditioned for 154 vocal spots.


The FCPS Tiger Esports Program wants to thank the Tiger Booster Club for purchasing new gaming headsets for our student-athletes to help them communicate with each other better during their team competitions. Another thank you needs to go out to Ms. O and her Art students last year for completing our mural in the Esports Room at the Middle School. Last, thank you to Nicole Merz and W7 Design for putting together our new apparel for this season. The Tiger Esports competitors are loving them!

Parent Teacher Conferences will be October 22nd and 24th. Please select a time where you are available to come to school to discuss your child's academic progress in school. Parent/teacher conferences is a great opportunity to share academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, testing data, assessments, and assignments.
Childcare will be provided in the gym to allow an opportunity for parents to conference with their child's teachers.
In addition, the Scholastic Book Fair will be set up in library during conferences.

(Ethan Boatright (C) "Mid", Peyton Brown (C) "Jungle", Ethan Morris "ADC", Kamdyn Huppert "Top", Royce Capek "Support", Brock Caudle, Andre Shafer, and Thomas West are subs. Announcing the stream was Thomas West and Kreighton Huppert.
*Varsity Overwatch 2 lost to Freeman, NE. They are now 0-2. (Dayton Snethen and Deacon Jacobs are Supports, Christian Saul is the Tank, Tripp Lippold, Avery Wendtlandt, Xaiver Luginbill, and Carter Rumbaugh are ADCs).
*Varsity Super Smash Bros went 1-1 against Kearney Catholic. Team 1 won 2-0 (Camden Jean and Deacon Jacobs) Andy are now 2-1 on the season, and Team 2 lost 1-2 (Carter Rumbaugh, Asher Kuker, and Xaiver Luginbill) and are more 1-2 overall.

On Saturday, October 5th, Falls City Middle School participated in the Norris Math Competition. A team of 4 students: Audrey Scrivens, Peyton Weddle, Elijah Diltz, and Collin Roberts took part in the individual math test and team QuizBowl. Elijah Diltz placed 1st among all competitors on the individual test while the quiz bowl team also claimed 1st place. Terri Hogue was their sponsor.
